Merrill Auditorium is adjacent to City Hall in downtown Portland, Maine.
From Northern Maine
Take Interstate 295 into Portland. Use exit 7 from 295 onto Franklin Arterial. Continue on Franklin Arterial until you intersect with Congress Street. Take a right onto Congress Street. Continue straight through the traffic light at Pearl Street and take your next right onto Myrtle Street, just before City Hall. The main lobby entrance to Merrill Auditorium is about 1/4 the way down Myrtle Street, on the left side of the street. The PortTix Box Office is located just inside the main entrance.
From Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Southern Maine
Take Interstate 95 into Maine. Use exit 44 from 95 onto Interstate 295. Use exit 7 from 295 onto Franklin Arterial. Continue on Franklin Arterial until you intersect with Congress Street. Take a right onto Congress Street. Continue straight through the traffic light at Pearl Street and take your next right onto Myrtle Street, just before City Hall. The main lobby entrance to Merrill Auditorium is about 1/4 the way down Myrtle Street, on the left side of the street. The PortTix Box Office is located just inside the main entrance.
From Northern New Hampshire and Western Maine
Take Route 302 into Portland. Once in Portland, Route 302 becomes Forest Avenue. Continue on Forest Avenue until it ends at the intersection with Congress Street. Turn left onto Congress Street and continue until you see City Hall on the left. Turn left onto Myrtle Street immediately after City Hall. The main lobby entrance to Merrill Auditorium is about 1/4 the way down Myrtle Street, on the left side of the street. The PortTix Box Office is located in the main lobby.
PARKING
Parking near Merrill Auditorium is easy. Street parking is free after 6:00 p.m. if you can find a metered spot. Otherwise, we recommend the following parking lots/garages. Note the closing time for each garage and confirm with the garage attendant when entering.
Temple Street Garage
11 Temple Street, next to Nickelodeon Cinema
Cost: $1 per hour
Closing Time: Midnight. Closed Sundays.
Elm Street Garage
21 Elm Street, next to Portland High School
Cost: $1 per hour
Closing Time: 30 minutes after performance ends
