Bob Waters holds a degree in music from Wichita State University, and a Masters Degree in Organ Performance from the University of Michigan. He learned the organbuilding trade in the workshops of Lewis & Hitchcock of Virginia and David Moore of Vermont, and he was an apprentice woodworker with Thomas and Barbara Wolf, harpsichord builders of Washington, DC. Since 1986, Bob has been president and owner of Watersmith Pipe Organs with a workshop in Hartford, VT.
