As part of our educational outreach, Ray Cornils presented a hands-on program for the New England Conference for Talent Development and Gifted Education in October. The session provided teachers with snippets of our school programs while they were engaged in making hypotheses and connecting their known knowledge to new information. Everyone was actively involved as we explored pipes, the organ, J.S. Bach, O. Messiaen, and viewed student work samples and of course, all fell in love with Kotzschmar Jr! The teachers were very impressed with how social studies, science, art and music were woven together within the lessons. Several have expressed interest in following up with visits to their schools.
