Christmas With Kennerley, Home for the Holidays 2020
Pre-recorded Online Performance
Available online (with unlimited views) from Noon on Saturday, December 12 to 6pm on Monday, December 28.
Our annual Christmas concert is a must-see event for many of our loyal patrons. Normally, it is presented right before Christmas Eve arrives. We aren’t able to gather in Merrill Auditorium this year, but we still plan to bring you a Christmas celebration you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home.
Join Portland Municipal Organist James Kennerley and special guests for a spectacular performance of Christmas favorites. James welcomes husband and wife soloists, Jonathan Boyd and Malinda Haslett to the stage, the Pine Tree Bell Ringers, Kotzschmar Festival Brass accompaniment and dancers from Maine State Ballet performing selections from The Nutcracker. This beautiful celebration of Christmas for our new normal is being produced in advance of its release to the public. We may not be able to be together for Christmas favorites and carol sing-alongs, but we will bring them to you to share with your family and friends! Plan to make the mighty Kotzschmar and James Kennerley part of your Christmas celebrations!
