Portland Municipal Organist James Kennerley is a sock aficionado. Each year at Christmas time, in his honor, we collect new warm socks for our local shelter, Preble Street. This year, even though we are not gathering together in Merrill Auditorium, we encourage all of our patrons to consider finding a way to share their usual donations with Preble Street, or a local shelter or effort in their home city or town.
