We begin with…
on Saturday, August 21st in Merrill Auditorium
Available for later viewing beginning August 25th
We’re headed back to Merrill Auditorium on Saturday August 21st for an inspiring concert starring Portland Municipal Organist James Kennerley.
We can’t wait to share this glorious music with you inside beautiful Merrill Auditorium!
Join James for a kaleidoscopic celebration of patriotic music written for the King of Instruments. Featuring the 7,101 pipes plus just about every other bell, whistle, and toy stop of the Mighty Kotzschmar Organ, the program is sure to thrill and delight. Featuring iconic marches by John Philip Sousa (including the famous Stars and Stripes Forever), the program traces the story of America through a variety of lenses. Find all the details here.
And, if you are unable to attend the live performance on August 21st, we are recording this concert and making it available for viewing at a later time. Find those details here.
This season will be like no other — we’ll be live and in-person in Merrill Auditorium, while also offering access to recordings of three of our four events for watching on your own schedule and from the comfort of your own screen. Plus, we are headed back to the Saco Drive-In during October for a fun-filled night of a not-so-silent movie with the help of Kennerley’s amazing improvised symphonic score. Find all the details on the Full Schedule page.
We are so excited to be back together with our loyal patrons. In the same space!
We hope you’ll put all of our upcoming events on your calendar. Let’s fill the hall! And the internet!
