Ashley O'Brien, Executive Director

Ashley is a seasoned strategic planning, brand development, and operational optimization professional with over 15 years of experience at multinational corporations like Morgan Stanley, Ann Inc., and Pernod Ricard. Ashley also brings over a decade of nonprofit board leadership experience at organizations such as New York Choral Society, HeathCorps, and Wellesley College Alumnae Leadership Council. She is an amateur, but life-long classically trained vocalist and French horn player, performing at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Radio City Music Hall, Madison Square Garden, Heinz Auditorium, and Boston Symphony Hall with soloists like Renee Flemming, Ailyn Perez, Andrea Bocelli, Kelly O’Hara, and Bryn Terfel. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College, where she majored in Economics and minored in Women Studies, and resides in Kennebunk, ME with her husband and daughter. Ashley is thrilled to join FOKO’s leadership and is committed to preserving and celebrating the incredible Kotzschmar Organ and supporting the expansion of arts and culture in Maine.

Sophie Bray, Administrative Director

Sophie is a versatile professional with a strong background in business management and arts administration. She graduated from Skidmore College with a BS in Business Management and pursued a minor in Arts Administration and Dance. Sophie's passion for the arts led her to work as a Gallery Ambassador at the Portland Museum of Art before joining FOKO in June 2022. Sophie's other experiences include serving as an Executive Assistant with ChoralArt, internships with Mad Horse Theatre, Dirigo Talent Agency and Jynx Productions. Sophie’s exceptional skills in Arts Administration were recognized during her time at Skidmore, when she was awarded the highly competitive Gilbert Arts Administration Grant as a freshman. Sophie is an alumni Maine State Ballet Company Dancer and a current Character Artist. Sophie is thrilled to continue her journey with FOKO and eagerly looks forward to making further contributions to their mission.
